Germanna Community College, in Virginia, has campuses in the Fredericksburg Area and Locust Grove.
Germanna Community College serves students from the city of Fredericksburg, along with residents from seven other counties in the area.
Both Germanna Community College campuses have classrooms, student lounges, a library, laboratories and other student resources, along with administrative teams and faculty that can assist students on campus.
The Fredericksburg Area campus also has a Workforce Development and Technology Center used to deliver technologies programs.

The College
The mandate of Germanna Community College is to provide support and learning opportunities to their community in the area around Fredericksburg. To do this, they offer education opportunities on a number of levels.
There are associate degrees, certificate programs, distance learning programs and workplace training opportunities at Germanna Community College.
All these programs are intended to be a gateway for students at the college to move forward with their lives and seek not only better employment, but a way to interact with and improve their community.
Middle College
Germanna Community College's Middle College Program is specifically tailored for students ages 18 to 24 who have not yet completed high school. The objective of this program is a Career Readiness certificate.
Middle College entails obtaining the GED, developing job skills and earning college credits. The program is free to students who meet the enrollment criteria and all the ancillary fees are paid by the College.
Transferring Credits
Because Germanna Community College's mandate is to provide a base to its students that they can build on at other learning institutions, transferring credits can be very easy.
Community colleges in Virginia have agreements with more than twenty learning institutions in the commonwealth that guarantee admissions.
