The Masters College is a Christian university, though non-denominational, based in Santa Clarita, California. It's known for offering comprehensive liberal arts programs that are taught with a focus on the Christian faith.

If you're choosing a college and considering The Master's Christian College, keep reading for more information on the school, including available programs.

School Ranking

The Master's College has been chosen as the second best comprehensive school in the West for the last two years by the influential U.S. News and World Report University Rankings. The schools are judged on student life, academic performance, professor quality, class size, available financial aid and their graduation rates.

The school boasts an impressive 80 percent graduation rate, small class sizes (over 70 percent have less than 20 students) and a fantastic financial aid program.

Tuition Fees

Because The Masters College is a private university, the fees are significantly higher than state schools. Students who don't qualify for financial aid, scholarships or bursaries can expect to pay about $22,000 a year in tuition.

Church Affiliations

Though the school was originally founded as a Baptist Seminary, it has since expanded to become a non-denominational Christian college.

Undergraduate Programs

The school offers 13 fields of study for students pursuing Bachelor of Arts, Music or Science degrees – Biblical Studies, Christian Ministries, Communications, English, History, Liberal Studies, Mathematics, Music, Kinesiology and Physical Education, Political Studies, Biological Science, Business Administration, Computer and Information Science and Home Economics.

The school also offers The Masters Seminary – a postgraduate, men-only school with the goal of training students to become pastors or trainers of pastors. Programs available at the seminary include The Master of Divinity, Bachelor of Theology, Diploma of Theology, Master of Theology, Doctor of Ministry and the Doctor of Theology.

Admissions

Prospective students to The Masters College must have a high school diploma, available SAT scores and submit a Statement of Faith along with their application.
